As one of the automakers with a larger vehicle family lineup for the North American market, BMW always delivers improvements, upgrades, and innovations with each new model year. According to press releases recently issued by BMW, five model families are getting a mid-cycle refresh, and one is entering a new generation. Let's review these updates, which are brought to by BMW Cleveland

The luxurious BMW 5 Series of sporty sedans is getting a new generation with the new M5. For the seventh generation of the high-performance M5 sedan, you can choose a plug-in hybrid version cranking out 650 horsepower and more than 750 pound-feet of torque. The new M5 will also come in a Touring trim for even more style and spirited driving near Beachwood.
These compact urban crossovers are getting the BMW Operating System nine update, meaning they can now park in tight spots around Cleveland. Moreover, you will be able to step out of the vehicle and park via the My BMW mobile app.
The XM is getting two visual appearance upgrades from BMW as the flagship full-size luxury SUV. The BMW XM Label trim package now includes 23-inch wheels with darkened steel, and the rear taillight arrangement has been streamlined.
Here's an interesting new feature for the iX SUV line, plus the legendary five and seven Series BMW. With Silent Mode, which can be activated through voice commands, your cabin turns ultra-quiet as you drive around Solon. Silent Mode automatically mutes the audio system, dims the ambient lighting, puts the infotainment system in "do not disturb," and lowers the optional window shades.
