BMW 7 Series Power and Performance
 The base engine for the 7 Series is a 3.0-liter turbocharged six-cylinder engine that generates 335 horsepower and 330 lb-ft of torque, paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission. The 740i xDrive employs the same engine with all-wheel drive.
The upgrade option is the 745e xDrive, which utilizes a turbocharged 3.0-liter six-cylinder engine and an electric motor and battery pack to produce 389 horsepower and 16 miles of all-electric range. All-wheel drive is standard. The 750i xDrive uses a 523-horsepower turbocharged V8 with all-wheel drive.
The range-topping engine is a turbocharged 6.6-liter V12 engine that produces 601 horsepower and 627 lb-ft of torque with all-wheel drive. Several performance upgrades are available with features like rear-wheel steering for better handling and an adaptive suspension that adjusts to road conditions.
BMW 7 Series Interior
The 7 Series offers spacious seating that boasts ample headroom and legroom for passengers. Numerous comfort features are included, such as:
- Heated front seats
- Heated steering wheel
- Power-adjustable front seats
- Four-zone automatic climate control
- Power-sliding panoramic glass roof
Optional upgrades include power-adjustable and heated rear seats, laminated glass for a whisper-quiet interior, and a faux-suede headliner. You can also add massaging, ventilated, and heated front seats. The Luxury Rear Seating package offers additional comfort for the rear seat, including massaging, power-adjustable, and ventilated rear seats, and a rear-mounted tablet for media control. The trunk of the 7 Series can accommodate 18 cubic feet of cargo space, which is plenty for luggage and golf clubs.
BMW 7 Series Technology
 The 7 Series comes with the iDrive infotainment system that offers an intuitive, straightforward interface. You can control the system with touch inputs and a center-console rotary controller. USB ports throughout the cabin are standard, as well as Bluetooth® connectivity and Apple CarPlay™ for streaming music from your phone. A Harman Kardon® sound system is also standard.
Numerous safety features are standard, including parking sensors that alert you to nearby obstacles and a surround-view camera system for a top-down view of your vehicle. Blind-spot monitoring is also included, which alerts you if there's a vehicle in your blind spot. Lane-departure warning, a feature that warns you if you drift out of your lane and gently guides you back, and forward-collision mitigation, a feature that alerts you to frontal collision, are also included.
