BMW 4 Series Commanding Power
At the heart of the 2021 BMW 430i, you will find the standard 2.0L TwinPower Turbo engine. It generates 255 horsepower and 295 lb-ft of torque, so you can go from 0 to 60 MPH in just 5.5 seconds. It's paired with an 8-speed Sport Automatic transmission with Launch Control, which helps provide a swift, streamlined launch.
The M440i xDrive features an all-new mild hybrid system. It consists of a 382-horsepower, 3.0L M TwinPower Turbo engine and an eBoost 48-volt battery, which can store and use energy to boost fuel economy. It also comes with an M Sport suspension that can keep you firmly planted to the road.
One brand-new feature you will only get with the 4 Series M440i xDrive is a Sprint function. You will use the standard steering-wheel-mounted paddle shifters to activate it. Pull on the left shift paddle for at least a second, and the transmission will drop right into the lowest possible gear to maximize acceleration.
