BMW Kicks Off Drive For A Cause Campaign

BMW is excited to kick off the nationwide Drive for a Cause Campaign. This is a fundraising campaign that will raise money for a local charitable cause each time someone test drives a BMW vehicle this summer. Keep reading for more information.

The campaign will launch May 24th and run through September. Money raised from test drives will be donated to a local charity or Team USA. Interested parties can register at www.bmwusa.com/driveforacause.

"'Drive for a Cause' is more than a summer sales initiative - it's a meaningful part of what we do to support Team USA and other important local charitable endeavors," said Trudy Hardy, Vice President, Marketing, BMW of North America. "Any time you can get people behind the wheel of a BMW while simultaneously generating attention and raising money for worthy charities, it's a win-win."

Last year BMW hosted the Drive for Team USA event that supported the US Olympic and Paralympic athletes. This campaign came out of the partnership BMW formed with the 2016 US Olympic and Paralympic teams. BMW has supported the advancement of Team USA for six years. The supported athletes include Nathan Adrian (Swimming), Josh George (Track and Field), April Homes (Track and Field) and Maya DiRado (Swimming) - just to name a few. Not only does BMW support the athletes but they have also supported innovative design. These designs include the BMW Racing wheelchair as well as BMW Olympic Bobsled.
