BMW is excited to announce the upcoming release of the new BMW M2 Coupe and the new BMW X4 M40i. To celebrate this momentous event they hosted an international press launch at the Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca in Monterey, California. Want to know more? Keep reading!

The BMW X4 M40i is relatively new to the Sport Activity Coupe segment for BMW. It arrived at dealerships this month, so BMW felt hosting a press launch would create the most buzz about this new vehicle.

You will see the M performance look on this vehicle immediately. There are Ferric Gray metallic accents on the front of the vehicle and on the side mirrors as well as Black Chrome tailpipes on both side of the vehicle. The wheels are 20-inch M light-alloy double-spoke wheels and consumers can choose to have the Michelin Pilot Super Sport tires put on. Inside there is a M leather wrapped steering wheel as well as a M gear shift lever. The seats are sport seats with "X4 M40i" on the instrument panel.

Powering this vehicle is the M Performance TwinPower Turbo inline 6-cylinder gasoline engine. This is the world premiere of this engine - very exciting for BMW! This engine produces 355 horsepower and 343 lb-ft of torque. It is paired with a specially tuned sport chassis and an all-wheel drive system, as well as BMW Performance Control. The engine is made of aluminum making it especially lightweight.

We here at BMW Cleveland look forward to seeing these vehicles on our lot. If you are in the Solon area swing by and check out the new and pre-owned BMW vehicles we have on our lot. We hope to see you soon!
