BMW Introduces The All-New BMW M760i xDrive

BMW announced this week the all-new BMW M760i xDrive. This is the newest addition to the BMW M Performance line-up and the sixth generation of the BMW 7 Series. Keep reading for more information.

This vehicle will be powered by the M Performance TwinPower Turbo 12-cylinder gasoline engine which produces 600 horsepower and 590 lb-ft of torque. The engine uses a variety of technologies to boost performance even more. For instance, the M Performance Turbo Technology combined with the High Precision Injection allows for sharp and direct responses that even out the movement of the accelerator as well as the linear torque curve.

The BMW M760i xDrive will also have an 8-speed Steptronic Sport Automatic transmission which can be operated using the gearshift paddles on the steering wheel. This delivers sportier gear changes and quicker downshifts. It includes a Launch Control function allowing drivers to achieve the optimum acceleration on demand. But when in manual mode the transmission will hold the selected gear until the driver shifts it into the next gear.

Another cool addition to the BMW M760i xDrive is the Active Comfort Drive with Preview suspension system. This links with the two-axel air suspension and the Dynamic Damper Control system to provide exceptional spring and damper comfort as well as low vibration levels.

There is so much more to this vehicle! Watch out for more information to be released. You can expect to see this vehicle arriving on lots in early 2017.
